Do you want to be able to shop for the best bargains before anyone else and get a sneak peek at all the great items that Dress on a Dime has to offer? Volunteering is the answer. When you volunteer, not only are you given the opportunity to shop first, it is fun and rewarding too. We never turn down volunteers. You can volunteer for as little as 1 shift or as many as 10. Here is how it works:

Consignors receive a base commission of 65%. Consignors that volunteer 1 shift earn 70% commission and are eligible to shop at the private pre-sale on Thursday and the 50% off private sale on Sunday. Consignors volunteering 2 shifts earn 70% commission, earn earlier admission to the private pre-sale on Thursday and admission to the private 50% off sale on Saturday night. Consignors volunteering 3 shifts earn 70% commission, earlier admission to the Thursday pre-sale, admission to the private 50% off sale on Saturday night and a $10 gift card to be used at the Dress on a Dime sale.

Non-consigners who want to shop but not sell can volunteer for 1, 3 hour shift on any available shift prior to the Thursday pre-sale. Volunteer two 3 hour shifts and you are eligible for the private pre-sale on Thursday and the 50% off private presale on Sunday. Thanks in advance for your hard work and time! You are much appreciated. Without you the sale could not be a success.

As much as we love children, they are not allowed during your volunteer time.

The volunteer shifts fill up quickly. If the time you want is full, email us, and we will try to find one that works best for you.

All of your time is truly appreciated and helps tremendously towards the sales success! There are a wide variety of shifts available to suit everyone's individual schedules. Working a shift may include set-up of racks and tables, inspection of incoming items, assisting consignors putting their items on the selling floor, de-tagging of items for the cashier, straightening of items on the selling floor, cleanup and breakdown of racks, dividing of unsold items for consignors to pick up, sorting items for donation, greeting customers, or anything else we may need to help keep the sale going!! If you still don't see a shift that you can volunteer for, contact us anyway. We are sure we can work something out! Remember, you don't have to be a consignor to volunteer.

Thursday: Private presale
10:00-11:30 consigners working 3 shifts
11:30-1:00 consigners working 2 shifts
1:00-2:30 consigners working 1 shift
2:30-6:00 all consigners and volunteers

Friday:
Public Sale 9am to 7pm

Saturday:
Public Sale 9am to 5pm
Private half off sale 6pm to 8pm

Sunday:
Private half off sale 8am to 9am
Public half off sale 9am to 5pm 50% off most items
